I'm sure he did ) Rivendare was the richest landlord in the western barony, so till his middle fourties baron was completely spoiled by women' attention. Yes, Rivendare is a jerk, but Blaumeux is not sincere, she secretly loves him for a long time, but never dared to tell about her feelings ))
I like Blaumeux a lot -- she seems to have grown quite a bit in her mind over the years. It's too bad she loved the baron and didn't tell him, although perhaps it was better that way. I rather doubt if he would have treated her any better than the other ladies had he known.
lady Blaumeux was the captain of Lordaeron royal guard and had great career untill she met Rivendare. He defeated her in the the final of Lordaeron joust, and it was the first time Blaumeux met such a grave opponent. Rivendare was in his middle fourties - manly, harsh and strong like an oak. Blaumeux fell for him, but she knew, she had zero chances due to their differences in caste and that he was always surrounded with the beautiful and noble maidens. As Rivendare was the rare guest in Lordaeron, Blaumeux quit her position as royal guard' captain and went to Stratholme to become the Head of City Watch. Now she could see him and escort him during hunting and inspection of his land. Rivendare didn't care but actually didn't mind her company. When the Plague came to Lordaeron, Blaumeux was called back to Lordaeron. While she was fighting the Scourge in eastern part of the kingdoms, Arthas invaded western barony and Rivendare' castle finally fell. When Blaumeux learned that baron died and joined the Scourge, she voluntarily killed herself to be able to follow him afterlife. Now she has an eternity to get some courage and one day tell him how she feels))
Actually Blaumeux' lovestory will be 10 pages oneshot I want to draw in the winter )
Poor lady, that's a tragic tale. I hope it ends well for her. And I don't think undeath has improved Rivendare too much... I suspect the good Lady Blaumeux will be better off with Razuvious in the long run, but I wish her the best of luck.
These are as fun for me to read as the novels in Archerus. They also do tell a lot about those places. For example, one certain minion used to complain to his superiors that Rivendare made his guard and subject parade around in small groups, at a distance from eachother, instead of letting hem take up actually combat-worthy positions in large groups.
Can't wait to see you portray Zeliek. He's so cute an' innocent.
